The Valley of Fire is a state park that covers nearly 46,000 acres of red sandstone formations, ancient petroglyphs, and diverse wildlife.

The Valley of Fire is located 50 miles northeast of Las Vegas, and it takes about an hour to drive there. You can rent a car, join a tour, or take a shuttle bus.

The best time to visit the Valley of Fire is in the spring or fall, when the temperatures are mild and the crowds are low.

If you want to spend more than a day in the park, you can camp at one of the two campgrounds, or stay at a nearby hotel or Airbnb.
